Overhead chain shot blasting machines can be classified into continuous, step-by-step, and accumulation types based on the movement mode of workpieces along with the hanging chain. This machine is suitable for surface cleaning and shot blasting strengthening of multi-variety, large-batch cast iron parts, cast steel parts, forgings, and steel structural parts. It achieves excellent cleaning effects especially for components such as engine cylinder heads, motor housings, wheel hubs, and steel cylinders. It is an ideal choice for industries including automobiles, tractors, diesel engines, motors, and valves.

Continuous type: Workpieces are hung on the chain hooks and pass through the shot blasting chamber at a constant speed in a continuous cycle. After entering the cleaning chamber, the workpieces rotate on their own axis driven by a rotation mechanism while moving forward.

Step-by-step type: Workpieces hanging on the hooks are grouped (usually 2–3 hooks per group; the number of groups depends on the customer’s working frequency requirements and the length of the entire cleaning line). The working sequence is as follows: loading → waiting → shot blasting (with self-rotation) → waiting → unloading → waiting → loading, and the cycle repeats.

Accumulation type: Empty trolleys park at fixed points in the workpiece loading area to wait for loading. After loading is completed, the stopper automatically releases them. The trolley runs to the front of the shot blasting chamber and enters a waiting state, while the workpieces hung by a group of trolleys inside the shot blasting chamber are undergoing shot blasting cleaning. When the indoor trolley finishes shot blasting and leaves the chamber, the stopper in the waiting area automatically releases, and the trolley enters the shot blasting stage; at the same time, the next trolley waits. After the workpiece cleaning of this trolley is completed, it automatically runs to the waiting area to wait for unloading. The cycle continues sequentially.
